Finally, after winning the title Philippine Idol in 2006, Mau Marcelo, who for a time, went by the stage name Samantha Brown, comes home to Lucena City for her first major solo concert titled "On My Own" at Sentro Pastoral in Isabang on April 21, 2007.

 

The concert promises to be the biggest event in Lucena this April and Marcelo herself is so excited about the event. "Iba po kasi ang feeling na makapagperform ka mismo sa mga kababayan mo po at sa mga sumuporta sa aken at naniwala mula sa buong Quezon."

 

Marcelo says her kababayan will definitely enjoy her show as she has prepared several production numbers and terrific songs including her winning song "Try It On My Own."

 

Hailing from Lucena City Marcelo started singing at age 7. By her 20s, Marcelo was already a veteran of singing competitions, including the Star for a Night singer-search that was won by Sarah Geronimo.
